About Krithya

Krithya, literally means “in action” refers to doing a deed. Having a vision of doing something, creating a space for creativity and innovative design solutions, Krithya was founded in 2019 by two school friends. Rupesh Karki, Civil Engineer, with masters in construction management, he executes the tasks and leads the entire team to produce practical output that endure over time. Garima Nakarmi, Architect with specialization on energy efficiency in building, focuses on efficiency, functionality and aesthetic with her passion in architecture.

Along the time, krithya has built a team of seasoned professionals who have worked on a wide range of projects and have developed the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results. Our approach prioritizes collaboration with client; user group, consultants, builders and other stakeholders (if any) to ensure that every aspect is aligned to meet objectives and values any project beholds.

Garima Nakarmi

Architect, Co- Founder

Garima Nakarmi co-founded Krithya studio with Rupesh karki in 2019. With a Master’s degree in Energy Efficiency in Buildings, she brings over a decade of experience in diverse architectural projects. Garima has played a crucial role in earthquake emergency output projects in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Central Level Project Implementation Unit (CLPIU), contributing to the design of over 170 schools of Nepal. She has also served as the Design Coordinator for the University of Washington’s “Interact Nepal project”.
